
Once the Processing is completed and the Learners Grading Level appears on PSIRA’s website the Learner may follow the application procedure to apply for their PSIRA Certificate and ID card.

Process in getting a license.
The process of getting a license consists of three steps.
Competency training is offered at accredited firearm training centers like Tshwane Skills Training.
The process is as follows:
On successful completion the Tshwane Skills Training will award the student the competency training certificates, and the application can then be done at the police.
Below is a list of documentation that you will need to supply with your firearm license application.
Prepare copies beforehand as most SAPS offices do not have facilities to make copies of your documents.
